Purpose

[edit]

What is the wattle for? That is not even mentioned in the article. Does anyone know? DOes it even have a purpose, or is like earlobes in humans? Almighty Rajah (talk) 19:32, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Big Rygs" This can't be a real animal...google has 0 results for the term. I'm removing it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.108.155.110 (talk) 00:21, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wattle or wattles?

[edit]

Is it singular 'wattle' or plural 'wattles' I have always used the word in the plural as there is usually one lobe either side of the cheeks/throat. Is there any consensus on this? DrChrissy (talk) 18:12, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
