13th LD

[edit]

The 13th LD were operationally attached to Grant's brigade during the battle, this should be mentioned, see: Adkin pp. 217-218. Urselius (talk) 22:21, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Requested correction

[edit]

Copying over from article where the following text was added by IP 108.31.36.161.

Somebody needs to correct the French OOB for II Corps. According to Scott Bowden, just before the 1815 campaign, the 2nd Light was transferred from 5/II to 6/II with the 3rd Line going from 6/II to 5/II. A close reading of that researcher who personally visited the Armee du Nord records in France should suffice to make this change as well as the simple fact that said regiments fought the great battles from these formations.

Generals staff

[edit]

We have a section for Wellington staff, but each general would have had a aid de camp and the Corps leaders all had men acting as chief of staff for example:

Both chiefs of staff preformed historic roles during the campaign, but are not in this article. We need to agree how to add the staff of the more senior commanders to this article.

Further units and lots of wrong information

[edit]

I've completely re-made the page here, please take a look. A lot of the information on this page is incorrect including commanding officers, titles, and general information. J-Man11 (talk) 23:35, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
