This editor continues to manipulate edits in the Liverpool area. He has removed this text "Waterloo holds the postcode "L22" and adjoins Blundellsands and Crosby to the north and Seaforth to the south and is a northern suburb of the city of Liverpool" by stating it is unsourced. What is unsourced? That it is a northern suburb of Liverpool? that can be altered perhaps..............What about L22 POSTCODE? you think that is not true? What about adjoining Blundellsands and Crosby? You think that is unsourced? Cut the fony edits please JzaDmcm2008 (talk) 23:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The perfect riposte to someone you believe is removing information you think should be in the article because they say it is unsourced, is to provide a source. Per WP:V Jza did nothing wrong removing unsourced material, "material challenged or likely to be challenged, and all quotations, must be attributed to a reliable, published source".
It would probably be worth applying WP:UKCITIES and tweaking a few subheadings in the article. For instance, the information of the settlements surrounding Waterloo etc could go in a new 'geography' section. That could be sourced and the unimportant information about the postcode could be got rid of. Nev1 (talk) 00:50, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
