[edit]This page should be about watering holes where animals go to drink, not a Public house. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.201.179.105 (talk • contribs) 07:29, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Talk: Improvement Plan
[edit]Hello, I am working on improving this article as part of my coursework. My partner and I have come up with a number of improvements that we plan to make over the next couple of days, and would love to hear any feedback you might have about them!
We will:
- Fix the references to Google Books (they currently link to the Korean Google Books site, which isn't entirely appropriate for the English-language wikipedia
- Add a number of new references (specifically we're looking at adding well-documented information from Cisco's Annual Security Report (http://www.cisco.com/web/offer/gist_ty2_asset/Cisco_2014_ASR.pdf) and Symantec's Internet Security Threat Report (https://www.symantec.com/content/dam/symantec/docs/reports/istr-21-2016-en.pdf)
- Add a section on preventing watering hole attacks, using the previous sources as well as (https://securitycommunity.tcs.com/infosecsoapbox/articles/2017/02/06/watering-hole-attack-sophisticated-alternate-spear-phishing-attack)
- Adding a section on notable examples
Again, we welcome any opinions on better ways to improve this article! Cadandcookies (talk) 04:36, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Richard Nibblestone was browsing xyz website, when all the sudden ... happened.
When he got back to the office, ... then happened.
That caused his boss, Jennifer Blaphlabala to think ... thus ... resulting in the baking recipes getting stolen, for a total loss of $13 million. Jidanni (talk) 14:52, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
