No

[edit]

It is not the largest. By the way Kalahari Waterpark in Sandusky, Ohio will become the largest after it completes its huge expansion opening in December 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.161.73 (talk) 22:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Free advertising, is that how it goes?

This page is nothing more than a big advertisement for Water Park of America. There is nothing notable about this water park other than it truly infringes on the namesake of the MOA and somehow claims to be the biggest. Well, lots of things are the biggest but that does not necessarily qualify for notability. I could open up the Coffeeshop of America across the street tomorrow and claim to have the best espresso in the state or something. In one week I am going to slap a huge speedy deletion process on this unless someone can argue for it. .:DavuMaya:. 05:00, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a speedy candidate. Use WP:AFD instead, though I imagine it will survive. And I do think the largest indoor waterpark in the U.S. is notable. Grandmasterka 05:05, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I took out the worst part myself, which you should do next time. Grandmasterka 05:21, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
One week is up! Hmmm, I guess I can live with it now w/o the prices. Someone must have been very bored to document each individual slide in the park. .:DavuMaya:. 01:26, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This page is embarrassing. I found this page in the caption on Lazy_river and thought it was associated with MOA until I read the "Controversy" section. I am disgusted by the amount of picture spam. It feels like the owner of this park took them all himself and uploaded them with captions. I mean, are double pictures for the playground and lazy river really necessary? In fact, none of the pictures are necessary. This is not a significant article and really only the main picture (Outside of building) is needed. The amount of pictures relative to the amount of text is horrible. Even the most notable articles on here only have one or two pictures per (large) section. These pictures have no importance, and their captions don't help. This article needs to be cleaned up and the pictures need to be removed from the page. 98.111.140.24 (talk) 22:37, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
