TVA Watauga Reservoir

[edit]
  • The official name assigned to this body of water by the Tennessee Valley Authhority is "Watauga Reservoir" [1] --- Watauga Lake is a local name utilized by poorly educated people who cannot distinguish the difference between a reservoir and a lake.76.7.138.229 (talk) 15:41, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There may be some confusion with "Lake Watauga", which is the name of a pond in Centennial Park in Nashville. 207.191.177.153 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:55, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
