Wavell visited Burma
[edit]The article says "FM Wavell visited Burma"
Wavell was CinC India July 1941 to June 1943 (with a brief gap Jan-Mar 1942 when he was Supreme Commander ABDA, which included Burma), so was still technically in that job. He accompanied Churchill to Washington, presumably for this conference and in autumn 1943 was appointed Viceroy of India. Maybe he was sent to the Burma front to report, but surely it's more likely that he reported to the conference based on his existing knowledge of the theatre. It would be good if somebody could check and sharpen up the article. Paulturtle (talk) 01:37, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
