2016 Healthcare section
[edit]The most recently added section:
- In 2016, Riechert, The historic 62nd time he votes to strip millions terminally ill Americans of their healthcare, This is the 1st time it gets all the way to the POTUS desk for a veto. What many consider would be a genocide if they lost all the medical treatment and lifesaving healthcare Obamacare is providing.
is poorly worded, dripping with bias, and un-cited. What bill would "strip millions of terminally ill Americans of their healthcare"? Does it matter that he voted for it 62 times? Can you really call it "genocide" and claim a neutral stance? Also, this isn't about the district, it's purely about Riechert, it should be on his page. I'm going to remove it here, please re-word it and add it to Riechert's page. --TasgallKing 15:24, 7 January 2016 (PST)

[edit]The graphic is probably too big, but the thumb version is too small. Any ideas on how to fix this? Chadlupkes 22:11, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- I think the graphic is about right. Any smaller and it's probably not even worth having. Main cause of it appearing large is a lack of detail. I don't live in the 8th so I haven't been paying much attention to it, but are there any polls out on Burner vs. Reichert? If so, might considering adding a polls section. --Bobblehead 22:02, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Wellness
[edit]According to a recent gallup poll surveying several different categories of "wellness" (available at ahiphiwire.org), the 8th District is Washington's "happiest" district. The Jade Knight (talk) 21:48, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Ethnicity
[edit]The ethnic breakdown in this article's sidebar is wrong.
79.9% White 2.4% Black 7.0% Asian 9.7% Hispanic 1.1% Native American 0.5% Hawaiian 4.6% other 4.4% Multi ———————————————–––––––– [109.6% Total]
Does anyone know which data are incorrect?
