In Britain in 1939

The Background section says Simon was arrested by MI5 in 1939, then after three months in jail deported back to Germany. I’m guessing this was prior to September that year; does anyone know for definite? Otherwise the article is a bit misleading! Xyl 54 (talk) 23:40, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
