Per unsourced but presumably accurate info at Sutton Bridge, this seems to have been named for the former Crosskeys or Cross Keys Wash that covered the area. As seen in the Moll map, though, the old community or landmark of Crosskeys seems to have been N of Walpole St Andrews instead of E of it. Was the community moved to the other side at some point? or it's a separate settlement that ended up with the same name coincidentally? — LlywelynII 14:54, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
