- Done As with above, updates completed within policy, other cleanup was completed. In the future, unless we're looking at a significant change in numbers there is no need to request updates quarterly. Also for well sourced, uncontroversial numerical fact updating, you can do these edits yourself, even as a self-disclosed paid-editor. I would recommend still using these edit requests when you're requesting anything other than updating existing data in a very uncontroversial way that is well sourced (number of stores, name of ceo, etc)Tiggerjay (talk) 19:29, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

Suggested Updates to WBA Wikipedia Page
[edit]Hello! I think there is an opportunity to update the Walgreens Boots Alliance page with some new and relevant information. In the interest of transparency, I am declaring that I work for Walgreens Boots Alliance. I hope to work with external editors to ensure that this Wikipedia article is accurate and up to date. Please contact me on my Talk Page if you have any questions!
Introduction: In the interest of following a chronological timeline, consider switching the order of these two paragraphs: “In October 2020, Walgreens Boots Alliance published its fourth quarter earnings report. Fiscal year 2020 sales were $139.5 billion, up 2.5% from fiscal 2019, and net earnings decreased to $456 million.[1]” “On June 26, 2018, Walgreens Boots Alliance replaced General Electric on the Dow Jones Industrial Index.[8][9]”
Pharmaceutical Wholesale section: Please add a new paragraph regarding the January 6, 2021 announcement that AmerisourceBergen will acquire the majority of Alliance Healthcare. “On January 6, 2021, AmerisourceBergen Corporation and Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. announced strategic agreements under which AmerisourceBergen will acquire the majority of Walgreens Boots Alliance’s Alliance Healthcare businesses for approximately $6.5 billion, comprised of $6.275 billion in cash and 2 million shares of AmerisourceBergen common stock.” Source: [1]
Retail Pharmacy International section: Please add a new paragraph regarding WBA’s acquisition of a minority stake in GuoDa. “In July 2018, the company completed an acquisition to acquire a 40 percent minority stake in GuoDa, a leading retail pharmacy chain in China.” Source: [2]
Product Brands section: Consider adding an introductory sentence that includes all brands within WBA’s Global Brand portfolio for clarity. “Walgreens Boots Alliance owns several health and beauty brands, including Almus, Botanics, No7, Liz Earle, Soap & Glory, Sleek MakeUP and YourGoodSkin.” Source: [3]
Product Brands section: Please update the citation for this sentence as existing citation is not correct. “In 2012, Liz Earle announced that she had left the company.[36] “ New citation: https://www.beautypackaging.com/contents/view_breaking-news/2017-05-22/liz-earle-leaves-liz-earle-beauty/
COVID-19: Consider adding some information regarding WBA's role in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Walgreens is playing a vital role in the United States’ COVID-19 vaccination and pandemic response efforts, administering vaccinations across 49 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, and having administered 11 million vaccines as of April 2021. (Source: [4]) Walgreens has set up nearly 500 COVID-19 vaccination clinics in underserved areas across the country and is planning for an additional 100 off-site clinics. Walgreens is also working with its partners to drive equitable access to vaccines within underserved communities and remove transportation barriers. (Source: [5])
Corporate Social Responsibility: Consider adding some information about WBA's corporate social responsibility initiatives. Walgreens Boots Alliance’s corporate social responsibility strategy is anchored in four priority areas of healthy communities, healthy planet, sustainable marketplace, and a healthy and inclusive workplace. (Source: [6]) Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, WBA and its businesses continued to support communities through numerous campaigns, donations and ongoing work to prioritize CSR efforts. (Source: [7]) As one example of the company’s CSR efforts, Walgreens has partnered with the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign to help provide life-saving vaccines to children around the world. As part of the Get a Shot. Give a Shot. program, Walgreens donates the value of a vaccine to the UN Foundation for every immunization administered by the company. (Source: [8]) Additionally, in September 2020, WBA released the company’s first global diversity and inclusion (D&I) report, while also announcing recent efforts aimed at addressing healthcare disparity in underserved communities.
