Future expansion
[edit]- Add geology info
- Add info on the tunnel creatures found when they did repair work (albino fish if I recall)
Let's hope they don't "green" up Waldo with wind turbines
[edit]"Starting in 1905, plans were begun to use the lake as a reservoir for irrigation in the Willamette Valley...."
It seems like a fluke that this lake has remained unspoiled, but not for lack of trying earlier! People just can't keep their grubby hands off nature. As with places like Maine, I'm concerned that quasi-environmentalists will target "wind resources" near the lake, spoiling its scenery far more than the 1996 (slow recovery) Charlton fire.
