Speed Trap
[edit]According to a number of sources including AAA, this town is tops in the nation for being a "speed trap". Proxy User (talk) 11:21, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- Is that time stamp correct? It's only now that something is being done about the alleged "speed trap." 108.246.206.139 (talk) 23:07, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
- I added the speed trap info over a year ago. It's old news. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:27, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
Census Data
[edit]I updated the census data on the city with the current numbers from the 2010 census. Jmh11c (talk) 16:20, 27 February 2013 (UTC)jmh11c
Removal of large part of "Speed trap" section
[edit]I reverted an edit by @Glenajohnson: that removed part of the "Speed trap designation" section and renamed it. I think such a potentially controversial change should be discussed here first. - Donald Albury 19:17, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Mr. Albury. I have been on the City Council for 10 years. We are trying to give a city more positive outlook. What I did, didn't change the page. Nothing was added about the 'Speed Trap' Section. I only removed the negative portion, and left what was honest. The city has been struggling trying to fight the negative publicity it received from the 'Speed Trap' publicity it got from AAA for years. I'm sorry you had a problem with that, but I'm trying to help the city. Let me know what else I could have done. Thanks. Glenajohnson (talk) 19:47, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- I was wondering why you changed the portion of "Education" about the Charter school that joined the city. It was a very positive thing that happened to the city. I've been working with Wikipedia for some time. Please let me know if the standards have changed. Thanks. Glen. Glenajohnson (talk) 19:54, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
