This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Walden Ponds is an important wildlife refuge in Boulder County, a valuable example of how undesirable geologic sites (a gravel mine, in this case) can be reclaimed, and also a source of puzzlement to those who wonder what its relationship, if any, is to Walden Pond in Massachusetts is. I have slightly modified the page to better emphasize the importance of Walden Ponds.Rochkind (talk) 23:36, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
