Dishes and confectionaries with the combination of sticky rice and palm sugar has a long history in Java. Subsequently, wajik has has occupied certain role in Javanese tradition, for example the Numplak Wajik ceremony held by Keraton Yogyakarta as part of Grebeg Muludan during Sekaten festival.
Hi Gunkarta, I would suggest if you can find verified statements which explicitly states that wajik is from Java (or something like that), instead of assumptive statements as what you have put as above. If that's the case, I could argue it is the same for Brunei, as sweet rice-based snacks have also existed in Brunei since 1500s as accounted by Antonio Pigafetta. I think there should be a specific section elaborate about the ingredients and shape section. It would be weird if a food article did not allow an ingredients section as Azuru79 has repeatedly undo my edits and involved in edit wars here, here, here, and here. I would like to invite other editors to resolve this edit war problem. Meanwhile I'll stand back.Gunkartatalk18:02, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Gunkarta, there is nothing weird about not having Ingredients section as plenty of established food articles do not have such section. Wikipedia is not a recipe book; it should be described in encyclopedic manner. It would be weirder if the Ingredients section of a regional dish only describe a specific country. By the way, I repeatedly undo your edits because you repeatedly undo my edits. Also, I never reverted your edits but rather a subsequent edit to a previous edit which was done by you, I was merely moving your contents to a more appropriate section and you should have just continue from there. Besides, I never had the automatic revert edit power. Hope you understand. Azuru79 (talk) 18:16, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Look, that is your opinion on not having ingredients section. I would like other editors saying on this. About edit wars, I was editing when you interupting my edit and I asked you to wait for me to complete my edits and add refs. But no..., you stubbornly insisted on reverting my edit causing edit conflicts. Let see how we resolve this based on consensus. Thank you.Gunkartatalk18:24, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, sounds like my opinion is invalid to you. My point above is not to shut down your opinion, just merely disagreeing. I would also welcome other editors, especially outside of Indonesia to review this issue. My edits should not affect whatever progress you were making, I was merely moving the contents, I wasn't even changing a single word of your content sentences and references. I don't know why you feel offended by that and exercised your automatic revert edit power when you could have just continued from there. Peace. Azuru79 (talk) 18:35, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
