A few refs

[edit]

A few refs (ex. [1]) mention Wacław Lipiński, contemporary, a Polish-Ukrainian activist, "szlachcic" but a "Ukrainian conservative activist". I do wonder if this is the same person, or are there two notable people named Wacław Lipiński from (roughly) the same period? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:06, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at Vyacheslav Lypynsky. Ostap 18:41, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Now, the question is - who wrote what? I think that the first three publications may be those of the Ukrainian historian, the latter are certainly those of the Polish one.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:45, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That seems correct, look here on Vyacheslav: [2]. THe first one («Шляхта в Україні») probably his, the third one («Z dziejów Ukrainy») also. Ostap 18:53, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and moved the publications. By all means, please add Ukrainian language to the titles (although I do wonder what languages were they published in in the first place)? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 06:21, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
