Song articles
[edit]Just thought I'd let ya know Juhtuo (talk • contribs) created 7 pages on songs listed here with the same very brief description (A song from Japanese singer duo W. Song is from album DUO U&U). I think they should either be expanded or deleted. Thanks, --WikiSlasher 06:43, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
Band?
[edit]Wouldn't it be more appropriate to name this article as "W (girl group)"—or better yet, "W (group)", because "W (girl group)" may imply that there's a boy band that is named W—and not W (band)? It's just that the word "band" implies that they play instruments, which they don't. Looking for other Wikipedians' opinions and comments before moving it to either pages I have suggested. - I guess that works too. Thanks. XD Eugh jei ♥ Kaorin 06:22, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

"Double U" and "Double You" note
[edit]I removed information about W being referred to as "Double U" or "Double You." I have not found any official source, article, or press release that ever refers to them by these names especially in Japanese. The closest I can find is a comment made by their producer, Tsunku, on his blog: http://www.tsunku.net/officialcommentdetail.php?@DB_ID@=16 His comment seems to be mistranslated, because the part about "Double U" actually read: "「W」の語源「DOUBLE U(二つのYOU)」の意から「YOU&YOU」つまり「あなたとあなた」という感覚です。" which means "The origin of 'W' means 'Double U (two Yous)', so it gives off the feeling of 'You and You.'" He's explaining the meaning of the group name but does not actually use "Double U" as the group name itself. If there is official confirmation (like on CD covers) where "Double U" or "Double You" is actually used in English, feel free to readd. lullabying (talk) 22:00, 5 May 2019 (UTC)
