I attended WUJS Arad in 1978 and one evening on my way to or from the dorm found myself surrounded by a bunch of aradi teenagers asking for money for hashish. Certainly an interesting interaction with the society. 147.234.31.253 (talk) 09:43, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My name is Leonard Pearl and I joined the WUJS class in 1968. This was the 2nd course to be run. I am origanilly from South Africa. At the ulpan I met my future wife, Sofia Gurdus, who came from Argentina. We got married in South Africa in 1969 and made Aliya in 1973 with our 2 children aged one and a half and 3. So we have been living in Israel for the last 50 years. This fairy story would not have happened if not for WUJS. 2A00:A041:376A:1700:80C6:D188:67D9:6BF3 (talk) 16:59, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
