Recreated

[edit]

This article was recreated on October 17, due to this callsign's return to use.

This information is dated. WJJZ is now featuring rap and is broadcasting smooth jazz no longer. From what I have researched, this station has not broadcasted a smooth jazz format since August 2006. It certainly isn't do so now!

Mistake! I confused it with WJJZ 106.1MHz which is now rap. The call sign has moved to the new frequency of 97.5 MHz.

Yeah!

[edit]

I was going to say! The callsign has moved to 97.5 and smooth jazz began again in Novemeber 2006. 106.1, whose callsign is now WISX, is rythmic adult contemporary, though it does feature some hip-hop. I would say that this article is very up to date.

Article edit history for 97.5 FM prior to November, 2006.

[edit]

Due to an improper handling of the switch from "WTHK" to "WJJZ" in 2006 (cut and paste move), we have a split edit history for the 97.5 FM article. Since it would be next to impossible for an administrator to undo the move after all this time, the edit history for 97.5 FM prior to September, 2006, can now be found at WTHK (defunct)'s edit history. Expand? It looks longer than most

[edit]

I saw WTOA mentioned in a Yahoo group. I can't use that as a source but apparently the station played beautiful music at one time. I always like to make sure such historical information is included in articles.

I made some minor fixes but it doesn't look like this article needs expanding any more than any other. There does seem to be a lot of duplication with other articles.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 13:28, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We typically have one article per FM license. WTHK (defunct) should be incorporated into this article. Raymie (tc) 23:52, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
