2nd Clean-up

[edit]
  • Cleaned up the on-air & former personalities section of the site
  • I'm also working on expanding the page from historical documents that are at the station

Added departure of Christa Dubill, also added "Former Personailites" page 66.170.4.59 01:12, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

Wow. This page looks absolutely terrible. I'm removing the photo gallery; the images are largely redundant and horrifyingly formatted. I'll leave the old logo, since it is significantly different than the current one. The old slogans can be posted in their own section, sans photos. Kafziel 00:38, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Info needed on digital conversion.

[edit]

On the WISN-TV page they state information about their digital conversion taking place on Feb. 17, 2009. If you have information about WKOW and their conversion, please add to the page. Below is the segment taken directly from WISN-TV's wikipage. I would like to have something like this on the WKOW wikipage, but the information is needed.

Digital television

Channel Programming
12.1 / 34.1 main WISN-TV/ABC programming

Post-analog shutdown
After the analog television shutdown and digital conversion, which is tentatively scheduled to take place on February 17, 2009, [1] WISN-TV will remain on its current pre-transition channel number, 34. [2] However, through the use of PSIP, digital television receivers will display WISN-TV's virtual channel as 12.

DTV info added. Also took out that WISN is a sister station becuase it's owned by Hearst and not QNI. Achernow (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 18:05, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
