Merger proposal

[edit]

Strongly against merger. The word "whim" is different from the acronym "WHIM" which could stand for something &/or radio callsign WHIM which is related to a few different stations. A merged page would get too confusing.Stereorock (talk) 14:34, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe I was wrong assuming that disambiguation pages in en-wikipedia consisting of the same letters - no matte if upper or lower case - are handled the same way like in de-wikipedia. I had to get used to it, too, but it make some sense for users not caring about cases. Has there been a discussion about this matter here?
Look at the header of Whim
"Whim or WHIM has various meanings:"

I'm not sure if there has been one. I can ask the Radio Stations Project. Personally I hope it stays as is to get people to realize radio calls are ALWAYS in capital letters. I'll ask WP:WPRS (the radio project) later on. Too nice out right now! ;)Stereorock (talk) 22:28, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
