Tone

[edit]

While zestful, the section on Tara reads more like the original book than an encyclopedia. Needs to be toned down and shortened.Parkwells (talk) 15:21, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's true. Very interesting and well written, but this is an encyclopedia after all, so the article has to reflect that. Hohenloh + 01:39, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion about a name

[edit]

There have been a few edits to the article Ill Met by Moonlight (film) recently changing the position of the nickname for W. Stanley Moss. I think that the question is really, what is his surname? Is it just "Moss" or is it "Stanley Moss". Even though it isn't hyphenated, a person can still have a surname made up of two (or more) names. See Double-barrelled name. If his surname is "Moss" then the name should be given as W. Stanley "Billy" Moss. But if his surname is "Stanley Moss" then it should be given as W. "Billy" Stanley Moss -- SteveCrook (talk) 11:55, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion should probably be centralized in one place. Although here would be the logical location, the discussion has advanced further on Talk:Ill Met by Moonlight (film)#Confusion about a name, so I'd suggest that it be centralized there. Beyond My Ken (talk) 14:26, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dates?

[edit]

Does not say his year of birth, etc. Although it is implied he was born in 1921, and his wife's article says he died in 1965. 92.23.80.221 (talk) 23:26, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

unattributed duplication: job lot editing?

[edit]

The "Tara" section is a duplication of two other articles: Sophie Moss and "Tara", Cairo.--Po Mieczu (talk) 01:14, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
