Sure no different configurations than Y180?

[edit]

I took 4 different vueling airbuses last week, first being quite different as a configuration (had enormous space between seats compared to the other 3. I think it was EC-ICT but cannot be sure. Was on VY8103 8 sep-2010 Athens to Barcelona. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Makrisj (talkcontribs) 23:23, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Company name

[edit]

"Vueling" is a pun mixing English and (joking) Spanish. "Vuelo" (flight, in Spanish) + English gerund suffixation -ing, "vueling"; of course, correct English is "Flying", Spanish "volando" (volar, to fly). It is not uncommon in (Spain) Spanish making puns like this one, saying for instance "estoy de fiesting" (I'm enjoying), which is completely absurd in both languages. This kind of puns are called "nombres de coña" or more formally "nombres de chiste" (lit. joking or kidding names).91.117.9.231 (talk) 15:58, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting Statement on "Biggest Airline in Spain"

[edit]

The first paragraph of the article states Vueling is "...the second largest airline in Spain after Iberia", while the second states Vueling "is the largest airline in Spain".

While I am unable to find a reliable citation for either statement right now, these statements clearly cannot coexist. Perhaps someone with better knowledge of the industry could advise on a good source for this kind of information.
