Voorhees is not a Dutch name, although it used to be
[edit]While Voorhees used to be a Dutch place name, and Van Voorhees a Dutch family name, and the American name is derived from it (see e.g. http://www.vanvoorhees.org/places/ruinen.php), this is no longer the case.
