Talk:Vongola Family
CEDEF
[edit]Although Basil is Iemitsu's disciple, he is not in the Vongola family. Please refer to the scene where Tsuna, Dino, and Reborn were talking while Basil slept in the hospital. This occurs in volume 10, target 84, page 10 in the manga and between 5:20 and 5:30 in episode 35 of the anime.
Technically, CEDEF are not a part of the Vongola family but have close ties to them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.7.77.13 (talk) 22:54, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Flame Characteristics
[edit]I would first like to thank the person who added the box with the flames characteristics. But I would like to note that the true characteristics for some of the flames have not been revealed. Only cloud, storm, rain, sun, and partially thunder have been discussed. Gamma stated that thunder flames are sharp like blades and the sharpness increases as the purity of the flame increases. No flame can increas purity. The mist flames have not been given a specific quality, Mukurou and Dokurou only used their power augmented by the flames to create "real" illusions. So far, not all mist flames share this quality. Examples include Lal Mirch's mist boxes, which deal with concealment and observation. If anyone else would like to state their opinion, please do so. Thank You. CP9Zebra (talk) 03:59, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Basil/Basilicum
[edit]Wouldn't it confuse readers if we named the headline Basilicum, but then the rest of the article referred to him as Basil? I think we should use Basil for his headline, but make a note that the character book states his full name as Basilicum.
example: In the Reborn! character book, his full name is stated as Basilicum, most likely as a reference to the herb, Ocimum basilicum. Myominane (talk) 07:15, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I guess since WP does prefer the more common names as headers, I rephrased it, but the reference is probably unneeded. DarkAngel 007 07:23, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
