I must unfortunately fail this nomination of an iconic pop rock record. While it was made in earnest good faith and the nominator has made edits and familiarized themselves with the article, I believe additional understanding and significant improvements are required which cannot be reasonably done in the frame of a GAN discussion.

Before considering re-nomination, please fix the following issues:

  • There are currently five {{citation needed}} tags. You must add a citation to or remove each of these claims, preferably the former.
  • There are even more unsourced statements that don't bear those tags. Among these are an unattributed quote from Will Champion, the subject matter of "Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love" and "Yes", everything regarding Davide Rossi, the total gross revenue of the album's tour, several of the album's reviews, and the entirety of the release history. Make sure everything is attributable to a source.
  • Critical reception is far too short for the purported best-selling album of 2008. I want to see more highlights drawn from the sources of what made this album so great.
    • On the plus side, the prose is not awful; I'd advise using surnames only after the first mention of an individual, though, the first example I see being Guy Berryman.

I hope none of this is taken personally, I see it was your first attempt at the GA process. Don't be too discouraged. I intend for this to be a learning experience, and if you have any follow-up questions on how to improve this article, I'd be happy to answer them. I have over 20 music-related good articles to my name; I encourage you to browse them for inspiration. I wish you the best.

Oh, not at all! It went from a surprisingly error-riddled article to a pretty good article, imo. A lot of that was from copyediting. I also think these notes should be heeded to any future editors looking at how to improve this, as I agree that an album this iconic deserves better.
