If my being an intern for the organization is a conflict of interest, when all I am trying to do is update the page since it has not been updated since 2010 and the sources used no longer work, then I am sorry. I am merely trying to update the information as much as possible, and being connected to the company I am able to provide much more information about the organization than is otherwise already available on the internet, as there is very limited information out there as well as on the organization's own website. I don't think this page should be deleted. I originally created the UBS page. It has been updated and improved since that time. Is promotion defined as promulgation of little known facts by someone who should know? This page provides information on a relatively important (within it's industry, very important) firm. I fully merged Community Blood Services and partially merged Blood Centers of the Pacific. On further review, BCP contains a lot of information about Irwin Memorial, the first community blood bank in the US, that really didn't belong in the Vitalant article; the info on the research institute definitely did. The two surviving articles also have some new sourcing in them. Raymie (tc) 18:12, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

Proposing the merger of Blood Centers of the Pacific and Community Blood Services as former standalone brands that have been subsumed into Vitalant. (The Vitalant article itself is a bit devoid of content, so this might be useful.) Raymie (tc) 05:13, 28 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
