[edit]plse add in detail about how posture affects vital capacity . Could some please add what the Forced Vital Capacity is and how it relates to Vital Capacity? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.108.156.222 (talk) 03:10, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
FVC, FEV1, MVV
[edit]To make it useful as a WP glossary link from other articles, this stub needs to gloss the terms:
- Forced Vital Capacity (FVC),
- Forced Expiratory Volume in one second (FEV1), and
- Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV)
Could someone who knows about those sorts of things do that? IMO, this article should be then retained (rather than merged with Spirometry, if anyone thinks about that), just for purposes of providing these glosses, and for all else it should link to Spirometry as the main article.Stringybark (talk) 11:15, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Possible causes of increased or decreased vital capacity
[edit]I would like to add a section regarding factors that might influence an increase or decrease of vital capacity. Would that be relevant enough to the article? -- WikiTryHardDieHard (talk) 17:33, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
