Notability tag
[edit]Concerning the notability tag I could move this article to Twin Visions or to Visions Metro Weekly - this one is wanted, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles/List of US Newspapers/New Jersey, but as has been stated in this article, Howard Scott, who I know since years, is the sole money contributor, editor, publisher and even distributor of this newspaper since over two and half decades, with the exception of one time subscription of $100,000 in 2005 by mayor of Newark Sharpe James for writing a series of articles about positive projects initiated by the city of Newark, such as free shots or police-on-a-block program, which didn't have sufficient coverage back then. I think he deserves a separate article. I'm going to introduce the Visions Metro Weekly article shortly after I get an image of it. Will be in Newark on Monday. And then we'll see, merge them both or keep these articles separate. greg park avenue (talk) 15:34, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- I support the idea of moving this to Visions Metro Weekly. Once you do, more can be written on this subject without the usual limitations of WP:BLP. For a different example of what else can be added to it, please take a look at the article I worked on, about a U.S. daily called The Free Lance–Star. - All right, Poeticbent, let's move it. But it needs some rewriting before and I don't have now time. If you have, be my guest. Will be back on X-mas Day. Hope they don't ban me until then. They really wanna ban me for one year for one mistake done 8 months before? Wouldn't believe it if I wouldn't see it with my own eyes. Thought the ArbCom is the last resort to do that, not the first. Cheer up. greg park avenue (talk) 20:01, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
