excuse me. if you care to look up the explanation on the german wp, you will find a comprehensive picture and explanation of what makes up a vo. i consider a disambiguation over-ambitious here, as you will NOT find any good extended explanation behind any of the given links. i therefore propose a change towards a unifying article instead of misleading diversity where none exists. -- Kku 13:20, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i agree that it is kind of silly to be asking for a citation on a disambiguation page, but if one is really needed, here's a good one

-an additional resource is the journal Organization Science, vol 10, no 6 -- the entire issue is devoted to virtual organizations. Begeun (talk) 03:44, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for adding to the mess but I found the virtual business article and wanted to anchor it here so a decision can be made about terminology. I agree with Kku that the distinctions being made are misleading and inaccurate. I have not added the new term because I think it is an improvement but to get more of our cards on the table. Why is an open business considered a virtual organization? The Open business article does not mention virtual organizations. I recommend dropping that one. Jojalozzo (talk) 00:56, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should Virtual organization (grid computing) be moved here? What about the WikiData nodes: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Talk:Q2462200 and https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q16909857 ? --White gecko (talk) 12:35, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
