Virosomes therefore represent an innovative, broadly applicable adjuvant and carrier system with prospective applications in areas beyond conventional vaccines. They are one of only three adjuvant systems widely approved by regulatory authorities and the only one that has carrier capabilities. This reads like an advertisement -- not really surprising given that it is directly quoted from the site of a company that sells IP relating to virosomes =651On.
