In the History section, the word "Barcroft" is linked to the article on Lake Barcroft in Fairfax County, Virginia. However, from the context, it appears the text is referring to the Barcroft neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia. Can anyone verify this? In particular, is Palmer's Hill in Arlington or in Fairfax County? 72.83.126.32 (talk) 17:29, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- I have at last looked into my own question, above. The original paved potion of the Pike was about three miles long and apparently did not extend to Fairfax County. The "Barcroft" referred to was most likely the present Barcroft neighborhood. I will remove the link to Lake Barcroft. 96.255.16.12 (talk) 17:04, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
