@P Aculeius, the page looks great so far! Do you think it would be beneficial to expand the article beyond the scope of Greco-Roman mythology? Examples could potentially include the Dharmic tradition of Kumari or the Christian tradition regarding Mary, mother of Jesus. Or does the phrase "Virgin Goddess" exclusively refer to these three Greco-Roman goddesses, as opposed to it generically meaning "goddesses who are virgins"? If this is the case, I wouldn't want this article to extend into original research on my part. Another ancient Greek virgin goddess I found was Astraea. Thoughts? There's definitely room to expand beyond these three/six, both in the classical tradition and elsewhere in the world. I was planning to begin with other Greek goddesses associated with virginity, but it might take a few days to make sure I have the sources I need to make a decent start. I thought of having an "others" section following Artemis/Diana, since the other Greek examples don't seem as well-known or developed in mythology, but there may well be eastern goddesses who would also qualify. I just don't know enough about them at this stage; my initial goal was to provide enough information to justify having the article in the first place, given that the alternative was redirecting the title at some sort of disambiguation page, which probably wouldn't have room for the level of information that the topic demands. Having reached that point, I need to pause and work out what else could be covered here. But if someone else wants to add "in Indian mythology" or "in the ancient near east" or some other sections before I get to it, go ahead—it doesn't have to be perfect, because anything that needs to be fixed can be edited later.
