Viral load is supposed to cover virus counts generally, but it was getting heavy on HIV information. I had some information to add about indications for viral load testing and it would have been inappropriate and WP:UNDUE for me to add that to the viral load article. This mess is so out of date. The swiss statement is crap as even with syphilis an hiv+ person with undetectable will not pass on HIV. Even WHO says under 200 copies.
