Inappropriate deletion of content
[edit]The agenda that someone seems to be pushing to remove information from this page and even delete it seems wholly inappropriate. Viral B Shah is:
1. Co-creator of the now quite mainstream Julia programming language 2. One of the primary designers of the Aadhaar identity system in India 3. Author of the book “Rebooting India: Realizing a Billion Aspirations” 4. Winner of the 2019 Wilkinson Prize for Technical Computing 5. Co-founder and CEO of the successful cloud-HPC startup, Julia Computing
How can this entry possibly not meet notability requirements? The request to delete this page has already been rejected, but now there seems to be a campaign to whittle down the page, removing accurate and relevant information instead. I’m not sure what the appropriate course of action here is and I don’t want to suggest edits since I’m not an independent party here, but I do want to flag the recent content deletion on this page as inappropriate and potentially motivated by some hidden agenda.
