Please add a critical response section.
The film opens to negative reviews. Hindustan Times writes: This Mohanlal film is slow, lacks impact. The reviewer also adds: The attempt is botched up by half-baked performances, weak screenplay and a song that is unnecessary. The intensity which is required for audience’s interest to build up is absent as we can easily guess what is going to happen. S R Praveen writes for The Hindu: B. Unnikrishnan’s attempt here was not to deliver a straight, taut thriller, but to build a slow-burner, with an emotional family drama and the unravelling of a psycho killer all weaved together. But it is too much load to carry for a script that is short on imagination.

- Partly done: While such long exerpts from critical reviews are not necessary, I added cited reviews form three major papers. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:42, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
Film got mostly positive reviews. Obviously this IP is desperately trying to downgrade the film by cherry-picking two negative reviews and turn a blind eye towards the majority positive reactions. 137.97.144.181 (talk) 16:49, 7 May 2019 (UTC)
Music credits
[edit]In Indian films, when official credits (including those in poster) say 'Music by: ____' it is about the song composer. If the score composer is different, then he gets a separate credit background score:______ or background music:______. Hence, in infobox, if only the score composers are credited in using music parameter, it could be confusing for Indian readers. Even in this film, the credits say Music by: 4 Musics while a separate credit goes to Sushin Shyam, who composed the score. Personally, I disagree with this crediting pattern though. Composing and producing a good score is 10 times tougher than composing situational musical numbers (songs) for films. The score composer deserves primary credit, just as in Hollywood. Many intelligent Indian filmmakers do that, but a majority in the mainstream are yet to adopt this idea. Composers like A. R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja etc. are virtuosos who have received high critical acclaim as both score and song composers.PlutoniumBackToTheFuture (talk) 09:52, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- Pinging Cyphoidbomb who edited it. Let There Be Sunshine (talk) 10:23, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- Hmm, doesn't seem a terribly strong edit on my part, especially since I removed the cinematography info. Weird. Not sure entirely what my thought process was here. That said, while the parameter is for the score composer, it should be fine to list both a la :
- Score:
- Sushin Shyam
- Songs:
- 4 Music
- However you want to format that. I believe I asked WT:FILM about this a while back and they had no objections. So in short: Feel free to revert my change on this. I don't know what I was thinking. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:24, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- I have an objection on listing it by inserting additional parameters, the "score" or "songs" should be in parenthesis as "India" is given in the release date. Let There Be Sunshine (talk) 16:41, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
