Coordinates
[edit]Please, give a source to change the coordinates of the place. I restored the version matching the Spanish article. --Mariano(t/c) 16:40, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Inappropiate commercial links
[edit]The link included in the sentence "You will find many resorts and villas and cabins for rental try Merlo VIllas" as well as its matching link in the External Links section seem like blatant advertising or a PR campaign for the related company. There are dozens and dozens of websites for buying or renting properties in Merlo so why is this particular one mentioned? It is not even a fully developed website, with various 404 page not found errors and lorem ipsum text as placeholders. It should be deleted. 24.232.207.82 (talk) 15:47, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Merlo, San Luis be merged into Villa de Merlo. I think that the content in the Merlo, San Luis article can easily be explained in the context of Villa de Merlo, and the Villa de Merlo article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Merlo, San Luis will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. 148.101.172.132 (talk) 23:54, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
Although I think that the merged article should be named "Merlo, San Luis" as it is most known as Merlo (Villa de Merlo just means Village of Merlo in Spanish) and there is another Merlo in Buenos Aires province in Argentina. 148.101.172.132 (talk) 00:10, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support merge, but suggest keeping Villa de Merlo as it seem to be the English name used on the official tourism website. That's also the more complete article. Klbrain (talk) 21:36, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 16:22, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
