The word used in the French article is "écarlate" which is best translated as scarlet. Shermozle (talk) 00:18, 17 March 2010 (UTC)
In the list of derisive terms, I use and have often heard other people use "Vigipicrate", from the french slang "picrate" meaning low quality wine. 193.57.141.147 (talk) 15:51, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
