Is the technical information in this article up to date?

Hello. I started using VideoScribe two days ago, and I suspect that some aspects of the article's description may be out of date. For example I really don't get the impression that the product is based on Flash any more, plus I'm using it to create AVI files, which the article doesn't say is possible.
