Merge?
[edit]It doesn't look likely that this page is ever going to be very long and it looks a bit unfortunate. The easiest way to improve it? Make a more comprehensive, tabulated list - but half of one already exists at List of Roman victory columns! Could we perhaps merge that into this and supplement it with a list of post-Roman victory columns? Furius (talk) 20:19, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

It should be Merged!
[edit]I agree! There seems to be duplication in both pages and should be merged, to improve readability. The Emperor of Byzantium (talk) 18:13, 04 February 2017 (UTC) Done Klbrain (talk) 15:57, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Cleanup required
[edit]The list should be moved to a new article List of monumental columns as a column dedicated to St. Mary cannot be called a victory column. A victory column is a monumental column dedicated to a victory in a war and this is a monumental column built for religious purposes in no case! It should be also determined, which objects of the list belong to List of modern obelisks and which objects should be moved in the list of monumental columns. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:DF:1F24:B579:58A:CC54:507F:7D39 (talk) 23:32, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
