I love this new article. However, I wondered about the exact date of Vifquain's second attempt to kidnap Jefferson Davis, stopping a train but which didn't have the Confederate leader abroad. I was curious whether it happened near the time of Ulrich Dahlgren's unsuccessful raid, and the subsequent controversy concerning the treatment of his corpse.Jweaver28 (talk) 10:20, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, this was a really interesting article to write. According to this source [1], Vifquain attempted to intercept the train on May 1, 1865, over a year after Dahlgren's raid. Spirit of Eagle (talk) 02:38, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
