Ornaments Rubric
[edit]The first paragraph on the events under Elizabeth I lacks sufficient information on the Ornaments Rubric and the history of its immediate interpretation by Sandys. I suggest link plus a brief additional comment in text.--Jpacobb (talk) 23:41, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I think the larger problem with this article is that replicates John Primus's monograph too closely in structure and style. In doing so, it overemphasizes the specialist concerns of 20th-century Elizabethan historiography, and doesn't effectively highlight the controversy's broader relevance to larger reformation and British outcomes.
Needs discussion of what happened after 1600
[edit]I like this article, though it is perhaps too long and should be split. But it should include discussion of what happened later. Vestments were one of the big items in Church of England disputes in the 1600s. What happened then? editeur24 (talk) 13:14, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
