Avoide dated statements
[edit]It seems that TDC in Denmark have stopped selling VDSL2 as a product at the moment.

- Alas, this has become a collection of statements written in present and future tense, not appropriate for wikipedia. Generally we should only describe things that happened in the past, and give the date. For example, in 2011 blah offered the VDSL service.<ref>{{cite ref with date}}</ref> Otherwise it gets out of date if you say "currently" and someone reads it five years later. And it might have been "most advanced" in 2006, but some day there might be another one, for example. W Nowicki (talk) 00:14, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
It's all even more out of date now - 2008 and 2009 were 5 or 6 years ago. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.203.83.212 (talk) 07:24, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
OFDM system comparison table
[edit]Feel free to add an VDSL2 column to the OFDM#OFDM system comparison table. Mange01 12:19, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
Direct TV under the North America Header
[edit]Direct TV doesn't intend to use VDSL2 to deliver to individual units, does it? That part of the section doesn't make sense and it reads like an advertisement. --SilverhandTalk 15:28, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Vectoring
[edit]add ITU-T G.vector (G.993.5) (Vectoring), if it belongs here. Probably this belongs to Dynamic Spectrum Management (DSM) level 3? http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Dynamic_Spectrum_Management. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.21.107.18 (talk) 22:41, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
List of VDSL deployment
[edit]This article has become a massive list of VDSL deployment statuses in various countries. Isn't it more appropriate to move this list to another page, and focus here only on technical factors? Juma93 (talk) 14:09, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
Yes, and in the same process delete all 'current' prices. Prices change on a weekly basis. 87.93.131.131 (talk) 12:13, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- Split carried out. See discussion at Talk:Very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line § Splitting of deployment section Conquerist (talk) 14:06, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
Max. downstream throughput
[edit]Profile table shows max. downstream throughput (such as 50Mbps for 8a thru 200 for 30a), but whole column appears to be taken from what ITU-T G.993.2 [1] lists as: "Required minimum bidirectional net data rate capability (MBDC)" (something quite different): therefore article is misleading and inaccurate. Earlier article gives a theoretical maximum of 250Mbps, but this profile table lists only up to 200Mbps: article is contradictory, both cannot be true. Brook13wk (talk) 06:59, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
