Consensus?
closed discussion about previous close that was eventually reopened
So, four editors opposing it or suggesting that it's premature (with an alternative suggested), plus one comment supporting it... and it gets done? That's a pretty strange "consensus". -Jason A. Quest (talk) 13:47, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
Well, per WP:MR you should contact the closer first, i.e. myself. I am aware that numerically it was not a strong case, thus I tried to provide an extended justification. Simply put, per WP:NAMECHANGES we give extra weight to sources published after the name change, and my own quick check suggested that the new name is well-accepted (news search). Further, the new official name "DC Vertigo" is unambiguous, which additionally supports the move per WP:NATURAL. I think it would take an exceptionally strong counterargument to those policy-based ones, and vague appeals to WP:COMMONNAME did not constitute one. Of course, you're welcome to start a WP:MR, count the #1 fufilled. No such user (talk) 21:32, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
V for Vendetta was not published under the Vertigo Imprint. It was first published by DC in 1988 as a prestige maxi-series. Vertigo imprint arrived in 1993, five years after V for Vendetta was released. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.148.249.46 (talk) 01:07, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
