Ventral Posterior Inferior nucleus instead of Ventral Intermediate?

[edit]

It seems from BrainInfo NeuroName 350 and BrainInfo superstructure "ventral posterior nucleus" that the third nucleus of the Ventral Posterior group is called Ventral PosteroInferior or Ventral Posterior Inferior. But the cited article by Delber does indeed refer to Ventral Intermediate nucleus in the abstract. So which is correct? It seems to me that the BrainInfo NeuroName naming is probably best. Alan U. In fact, according to BrainInfo search, there is no such thing as the ventral intermediate nucleus! On the other hand, the orange-and-red diagram does have such a thing. Alan U. Kennington (talk) 16:43, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
