Edward Palmer and E.P. Veeraswamy
[edit]E.P. Veeraswmy (spelling in the book) in his 1936 book calls himself the founder of E.P. Veeraswmy, and the restaurant and the Nizam line, makes no mention of Edward Palmer.
On further checking, I find a claim that E.P. Veeraswmy was actually Edward Palmer himself,
[1] and that Veeraswamy was the of family name of his maternal grandmother.[2]
