June 1, 2007: Hi, I moved the former municipality Varhaug out of this article, because it's history and not what most people think of when they hear Varhaug. Old "Varhaug kommune" can be found at Varhaug Municipality. - User:Olaversterk

Hi, your move was reverted. It was deeply problematic as it went against standards, conventions and consensus in the English Wikipedia - according to which a village and municipality with the same name should share the same article. Punkmorten 08:56, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh sorry about that. I just thought a former municipality has fairly little interest and importance for the village today. Also I thought the definition of a municipality is a settlement with local government. I think it shouldn't be treated the same. Because the municipality included more villages. By the way, do you have the old municipality article I wrote, I wan't to merge that one into the village article, I feel it was better structured and explaining. I already merged it. If you want to improve the structure, feel free to do so at Varhaug. And yes, today villages and municipalities with the same name are covered in the same article. Punkmorten 08:21, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
