Died in 2020?

[edit]

I found a blog post that says he died in Perth, Australia in March 2020 but I can't find any more reliable sources for this -https://www.pngattitude.com/2020/03/val-murphy-educator-sports-administrator-dies-in-perth.html.

https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/9804255/person/1188931370#?_phcmd=u('https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/?name%3Dval_murphy%26death%3D2020_perth-western%2Baustralia-australia_99429%26count%3D50%26death_x%3D0-0-0_1-1%26location%3D5027%26priority%3Daustralian%26successSource%3DSearch%26queryId%3D6323ea44-03ec-4d93-98f2-673e8cd903fa','successSource') makes the same claim, calling him Valmore David Murphy.

best I could find find is this notice on ACC website: https://www.aranmore.wa.edu.au/newsletter/archive/principals-message-20-march-2020 which matches with some of the info on the blog, it mentions rugby and New Guinea, but not coaching role with Kumuls. Thanks! I think these links and the article are all about the same person but I don't think the article can be updated just yet. Skycloud86 (talk) 09:20, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
