Suggestion
[edit]This page should probably be moved to a page named The Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station or something to that effect.

Merging three articles
[edit]There are now three wikipedia articles about Cutler radio station:
I shall try to merge them in one. I propose to keep the last title (VLF Transmitter Cutler). Any objections?

- Yes. Titles should be in English. "VLF Transmitter Cutler" is a calque of some other language (German?) and would never be uttered by a native English speaker. The correct name of the article, according to the rules of WP:WPRS, would be "NAA", but since that's taken, "NAA (radio station)" would be preferable. 18.26.0.5 (talk) 03:30, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
"Cutler" is an english word (the person who makes knives etc, see also "cutlery") and is not a load loan from German. But this is irrelevant per WP:WPRS, as Cutler, Maine is the name of the location of the station (Las Vegas and Ottawa are not proper english words either!). Sv1xv (talk) 14:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Lattice towers around the masts - Use?
[edit]What is the use of the free-standing lattice towers close to the masts? I never saw such towers at other transmission sites! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.46.219.27 (talk) 10:01, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
