V Hull design invented much earlier in history than the 70s
[edit]Look at the German SdKfz 222 from WW2. Wasn't that a true V Hull design already? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.16.193.104 (talk) 08:38, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
Needless?
[edit]I'm trying to figure out why somebody took out the link to the MRAP program, a program of all V-hull vehicles (probably the largest acquisition of V-hulled vehicles in modern times), and called it needless. http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=V-hull&diff=prev&oldid=222297593 Then the same person added a pic of a V-hulled vehicle when there already were pics of two other V-hulled vehicles there (one that clearly showcased the V-hull better than the Dingo, and another that shows a vehicle in the aftermath of an explosion showing how it works.) http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=V-hull&diff=prev&oldid=222297397 To me the Dingo pic was more needless than the MRAP link. It is kind of confusing. IraqVet225 (talk) 23:35, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
stolen term
[edit]this term was stolen from marine archetecture, and needs disambiguized. up untill the advent and speed of the eternal combustion engine most boat hulls were round. the V-hull and hard chine are hallmarks of modern speedboats. Brian in denver (talk) 20:08, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
